Black and White Wednesday: "A Change of Identity!" by Glut and Cockrum

What it is, my Groovy Ghoulies! From Ol' Groove's Crypt of Cool, here's a far-out freak-out by the titanic team of Don Glut and Dave Cockrum (early Dave Cockrum--his fourth pro job)! From Warren's Creepy #42 (cover-dated November 1971) it's time for..."A Change of Identity!"

  1. Cockrum was such an underrated artist, thanks for this post.

  2. I don't believe that Dave was underrated at all, just forgotten by too many modern fans. I got to see him in person twice and am damn glad that I did.

This story is terrific! I'm gonna go shopping on eBay.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
