Merry Christmas, Groove-ophiles! Are you finished with your holiday shopping? Me neither! The closer it gets, the more...fun..it gets, right? Riiiiiight! Times like this, Ol' Groove can sure empathize with with our favorite teen, Archie Andrews! Check out how he handles the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping in this classic George Gladir/Harry Lucey/Chic Stone short from Archie #232 (November 1974), "Shopper Comes a Cropper"!

  1. I love Archie and how Betty and Veronica never REALLY minded sharing him. Or at least not enough to change anything.

The ending of this one should have been that the girls were so impressed with him taking charge that they wanted him to help them shop during the after Christmas sales too. :)

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
