Sword and Sorcery Week! Black and White Wednesday: "The Land of Bone" by Saunders and Maroto
Dig it, Groove-ophiles! Here's a sword and sorcery shocker sure to satisfy from Creepy #65 (July 1974)! "The Land of Bone" was written by Jake "Buddy" Saunders, fanzine pioneer, author, and comics shop operator and illustrated by Spanish super-star Esteban Maroto. Oh, oh, oh, it's magic!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
