Our Pal Sal: "The Stalker in the Night!" by Mantlo and S. Buscema

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Here's another classic Bill Mantlo/Sal Buscema ROM, Spaceknight episode! "The Stalker in the Night" from ROM #9 (May 1980) features Serpentyne, a cool but very tragic character picked up from Ms. Marvel issues 20-21 (by Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum). Check it out...

    . . . which turned into pure shit after steve ditko took over the pencils later in the series.

      I must admit that, though I found Ditko's earlier works on Spidey and Cpt Atom to be "charming" his later stuff was not so charming. Not sure why...

    I read that series so many times I was forced to buy them again years later so I could have at least near mint for my collection. Golden is a god!
