The Grooviest Covers of All Time: Mike Grell Made Me Buy These! Round Two
Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! It's been a while since we did one of these (in fact, it was way back here), so Ol' Groove thinks it's high time we revisited (seven) more of Iron Mike Grell's grooviest DC covers! Batman! Superboy! The Legion of Super-Heroes! Green Lantern! Green Arrow! Warlord! Can you dig it?

Special thanks to Mike's Amazing World of Comics and Grand Comics Database for being such fantastic resources for covers, dates, creator info, etc. Thou art treasures true!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!

Good stuff! Oddly enough Detective Comics 455 and the 60 cent legion issue are simply two of my favorite all-time comics as well.
