Happy Thanksgiving, Groove-ophiles! (Okay, I know a lot of ya don't live in the U.S., but hey, here's an excuse for you to get into a bunch of extra posts today, so enjoy!) Here's your first course! A heaping helping of Nick Cuti and Joe Staton's E-Man! Yeah, Charlton's grooviest hero (along with his ravishing gal pal Nova Kane and our fave diminutive detective Michael Mauser) go up against TV Man--who's really an old E-Man foe in disguise! How "old" can a foe be if our hero is fighting him in his seventh issue? Let's go back to November 1974 and find out, shall we?

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!

One of my favorite issues of my favorite comic book series. Nick and Joe at their best. Thanks for the work you do here.

Oh, man, a classic jolt of E-man is a hearty enough meal for the whole day. Heck, just that lovely painted cover by Staton is a delicious treat on its own...
