Black and White Wednesday: "Bounty for a Vampire!" by Isabella and DeZuniga

Welcome to my parlor, Groove-ophiles! Two Tonys, Isabella and DeZuniga, had a major inspiration for Dracula Lives! #13 (May 1975)--cowboys and vampires! Prepare for one of the most unique Dracula tales you ever read..."Bounty for a Vampire!"

  3. Where do you find these gems Groove? Bring us more! As if I was not a big fan of Tony DeZuniga already! Can't beat a tale of cowboys vs Dracula! Hmm I think DeZuniga was channeling Charles Bronson as the marshal!

  4. Tony DeZuniga was an amazing talent! He and Alfredo Alcala were the 2 best arrivals from the Phillipines in the 70s. He could do it all: pencil, ink and full art. And he worked in so many genres: superhero, western, mystery, romance, sword and sorcery. I met him at the Emerald City Comicon in 2010. He was a super nice guy, signing 15 of my books and talking to me for quite awhile. How sad that he was gone 2 years later (along with Ernie Chan).
