Black and White Wednesday: "The Clash of Leviathans!" by Moench and Torrents

Dinosaurs vs. aliens! And the winner is...humanity? Doug Moench and Ramon Torrents give us the answers to dinosaur extinction and the origin of disease on earth with..."The Clash of Leviathans!" Pretty deep stuff for a Vampirella mag (Vampirella #28, August 1973, to be exact), huh?

Black and White Wednesday: "A Second Life" by Ramon Torrents

Dig it, Groove-ophiles! Though it only lasted two issues, Atlas/Seaboard's Weird Tales of the Macabre was loaded with lots of far-out and fiendishly freaky fables. One of 'em, from ish #1 (October 1974), is a cult-ish classic with it's take on the old Vanishing Hitchhiker urban myth, mixed with a simply Seventies serving of Satanism. This one's kinda gory, so look out as Ramon Torrents warns of the evil that is..."A Second Life!"
