Decent Comics: "Hey! Get Out'n Our Coffin!" by Cardy and O'Neil

What it is, Groove-ophiles! With Bat Lash #4 (February 1969), Nick Cardy and Denny O'Neil gave us a tale filled with girls, guns, and gutsy action--as usual. But we also got to delve more deeply into the character of Bat Lash, himself. While Marvel was giving us super-heroes with feet of clay (which we dearly love), DC gave us a flesh-and-blood protagonist who lacked the nobility and strength of character of our super-heroes. Yet, somehow, in spite of (because of?) his faults, we really dug Ol' Bat. What do you think...?
