Decent Comics: "Divided We Stand!" by Levitz, Staton, and Layton

Check it out, Groove-ophiles! It's JSA-er vs. JSA-er as the Psycho Pirate shows up to make life miserable for our fave Earth-2 heroes! Lots of action, character moments, and drama, plus a cameo by the Earth-1 Green Lantern (and the JLA's fabled satellite, t'boot)! "Divided We Stand!" by Paul Levitz, Joe Staton, and Bob Layton came out in All-Star Comics #68 waaaaaay back in June 1977...but you can read it right now in 2016!

  1. You have the best comic book blog on the net. I truly appreciate your posting all of these JSA All Star editions. The JSA Is my favorite. My comics are packed in a storage locker with my belongings while I am languishing in rehab recovering from a long illness. The only comics I can read now are online. So it is wonderful to see these. I wait out the month each time for your next installment as I once did in childhood, when they were new.

I would like to ask a favor. Please consider posting all the JLA=JSA team ups in order with continuances. That would be so great to read all of those again. Or you could at least do the bronze age team ups. ??? In any case thank you for these All Star revival issues.

    1. Thanks for the kind words about the Diversions, Joe! I'll see what I can do about the cross-overs. I am leaning very strongly toward running the JLA/JSA/LSH cross-over that this story leads into...

  2. I'm digging this post Groove! Love the crossovers especially when they introduced the old DC and Quality heroes starting at JLA 100 by Wein! I second the notion you have the best blog on comics!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
