Addicted to Alex Nino: "The Last Battle"

Here's a new sometimes-series for all you Alex Nino fans! From time to time Ol' Groove'll be digging up little-seen stories featuring Nino's neat-o art. What a simple, yet brilliant concept, no? First up, here's a sci-fi short from DC Comics' Weird War Tales #24 (January 1974) written by the ever-amazing Jack Oleck. It's "The Last Battle"!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
