Black and White Wednesday: "Nightfall" by Bill DuBay and Bernie Wrightson

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! How's this for a quick post? A classic from Creepy #91 (cover dated August 1977). Story by Bill DuBay, art by Bernie Wrightson, here's..."Nightfall"!

  1. Bernie's Warren work may be my favorite period of his. Peak performance by a true master!

  2. Actually, this first appeared in EERIE #60 in 1975. Wrightson also painted the back cover which was related to the story (a wink at Winsor McCay's "Little Nemo in Slumberland" strip of the early 20th century newspapers).
