Bring on the Back-ups: "The Mystery of the Flyaway Car!" by Bridwell, Buckler, and Janson

Fun story? Check! Awesome art? Check! Cool hero? Check! From Detective Comics #446 (January 1975) here's Hawkman in "The Mystery of the Flyaway Car!" by E. Nelson Bridwell, Rich Buckler, and Klaus Janson! Dig it, Groove-ophiles!

  1. Buckler & Janson drew a nice Kubert Hawkman in that last panel!

  2. I like it. Buckler and Janson draw a wonderful Hawkman!

  3. great, the comics of the 70s were the best!

  4. In the splash page, the car looks a bit like the Ford Falcon..Ha! See what I did there? Falcon...Hawk..get it? Geez, I kill me sometimes...
