Black and White Wednesday: "The Soul and the Shadow" by Fox and Crandall

Hey, Groove-ophiles! Didja know that right smack-dab in the middle of Creepy #58 (October 1973) lies a very cool sword and sorcery tale by Golden Age greats Gardner Fox (writer) and Reed Crandall (artist)? Well, it does! And here it is!

  1. He certainly loved drawing breasts.. And SUCH a gorgeous job he does of it.

Great for the adolescent collectors in us all.

    Beautiful work!

  2. I debated quite a while as to whether to use this one because of what you said, but the high quality and the cool factor of two of the Golden Age's best working together in the 70s won out!
