Bring On the Back-ups: "Operation: Rotten Apple" by Cuti and Sutton

Move over, James Bond! Step aside, Nick Fury! Back off, Maxwell Smart! Here comes Nick Cuti and Tom Sutton's The Knight in his one-and-only appearance from the back of E-Man #1 (August 1973). I think you're gonna dig Cuti and Sutton's irreverent take on the spying game, Groove-ophiles!

  1. Thanks, Groove. The E-Man series is justifably famous and well regarded, but I always enjoyed the back-up features as well. (And if you ever wanna post the back-up from E-Man #3, please feel free to do so!)

  2. Cuti and Howard's Travis? Duly noted, Groove-ophile! Keep your eyes peeled--there's a strong chance of that swell strip showing up after Christmas!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
